closedWhen We Are Closed

Between 6.00pm and 8.30am Monday to Friday the surgery is closed. In order to obtain medical advice at these times, please dial: 0141 211 9045 - you will be given the emergency number. A receptionist at the call centre will answer your call. She will either:

a) Arrange advice from a doctor or nurse
b) Invite you to attend the centre to be seen by the doctor
c) Arrange a home visit if you are too ill to visit the centre

Transport to and from the centre is available if you cannot arrange this yourself. Please take a leaflet from reception for further details. Out-of-hours cover is now the responsibility of GGNHSB.

Further information and advice can also be obtained from NHS 24. The new telephone number for this service is 111.

Out-of-hours services are generally busy so please think carefully before asking to see a doctor and only do so if you genuinely cannot wait until the surgery re-opens.

In a genuine emergency you should call 999. Chest pains and / or shortness of breath constitute an emergency.
