Repeat prescriptions will be issued at the doctor's discretion and are normally for patients on long-term treatment. Requests for prescriptions can be made as follows:
- In writing at the surgery - please complete your repeat order slip attached to your last prescription and hand in at reception.
- By telephone - Tel No: 0141 739 2556 option 2
- By post - If a stamped addressed envelope is enclosed, the prescription can be returned to you by post.
- Online scripts - You can register with the practice to order repeat scripts on line by asking the receptionist to register you and you will then receive instruction on how to do so. This will be available 24 hours a day.
We are unable to take orders or issue repeat prescriptions at weekends, on public holidays or outwith normal surgery hours.
Please allow 48 working hours before collection and make allowances for weekends, public holidays and if being sent by post.
Exact drug names must be given on any request if a repeat order slip is not presented.
Any items requested but not on a repeat prescription will be treated as a special request and will require longer than 48 hours for completion.
Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see a doctor, nurse practitioner or practice nurse at least once a year to review these regular medications and notification should appear on your repeat slip.
Please ensure that you book an appropriate appointment to avoid unnecessary delays to further prescriptions.
